About Attorney Michael R. Pedevillano

Michael R. Pedevillano is a criminal defense attorney with over a decade of courtroom experience and a sharp focus on forensic litigation, particularly DNA evidence. He currently serves as Assistant to the Director of Complex Litigation for the Connecticut Division of Public Defender Services, where he consults statewide on legal strategy and forensic issues.


Michael graduated summa cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law, ranked 2nd in his class, and brings a rigorous academic and practical background to every case. His training includes numerous advanced seminars in forensic DNA—ranging from Bode Technology and ThermoFisher to NAS and ACE Forensics—as well as national programs on trial advocacy, cross-examination, and digital evidence.


He has served as lead or consulting counsel in several high-stakes trials involving DNA, and regularly presents at trainings for attorneys across Connecticut. Michael’s deep understanding of both the science and the courtroom makes him uniquely qualified to support fellow attorneys handling complex forensic cases.
